You can't have your kayak and heat it apparently.

For once Toronto was spared - not a flake. Sunny and cold, but no snow.

Winters are really tough here, I'm in the 2nd highest hilltown in Mass. Winter stays a LONG time here, when it's all green and the trees are budding else where, theres still snow here. People stare at my car when I drive down into other towns cause it's been raining there but I'll have a mohawk haircut of snow on the roof of my car and they will have none.

Wow, that's quite a bit of snow! We just got about 12 inches last week. It melted off, then last night we got another 5" or so. Not NEARLY as much as you have.

A good thing too, since we have to drive 9 miles down an unplowed dirt road, before we hit the nearest plowed roads.

Here's a pic of the snow on the Colorado/Wyoming boarder and the sunsets we get every night

The only bad thing about living up here is the wind. The winter winds can get up to 70 m.p.h. pretty regularly. A couple of weeks ago the winds were 70-80 m.p.h. and gusting to 90 m.p.h.!

Here's a shot of a pretty calm day. When it starts to blow, its pretty much a white out if there is snow on the ground. BTW, the other picture is of the type of wind socks we use around here
