I would like to get some little rubber stoppers like on the bottom of the LadyBird motors and put them on my X4.

Traxxas engineers their over-priced models to eat parts, then dumps the cash into massive advertising hoping to snare the uninformed. We don't need them taking to the skies. It has been very refreshing not to see their name since I switched from ground to air RC.

For example - their flagship product, the Slash 4x4, has a base price of $400 but requires about $100 in aftermarket parts just to stay in one piece, and even then the ESC and motor can't handle 3s lipo as advertised. And these are KNOWN problems. Everyone in their forum is constantly crying about it but Traxxas doesn't care. (I finally wised up and got a RedCat Aftershock 8E that cost half as much and was indestructible.)

If they start making bigger quads people are going to get hurt when parts fail.

I'm new here and this forum has been VERY helpful to me. As someone who was in ground RC for 16 years, I'm just sharing what I learned.

My advice is to stay away from Traxxas.

Instead of looking for a $40 X4 in China plus $25 to $30 shipping and a month's wait, have you considered going on Ebay and paying $60 and have it in a few days?
