Question

CC ICE2 160 HV ... with red dot paint


Hello, I want to buy a ICE2 160HV ESC, but sellers can not tell me if they have updated the ESC with the red dot paint between black and red wires.
Because they tell me that the ESC are in sealed box.

How can I know in advance if I get the correct ESC?

Look at the date sticker on the back of the ESC. Call Tech Support and they can tell you if that ESC has been updated.

Ok, I understand, but the ESC is in the sealed box and vendors tell me that the item loses value if they open the box.

I do not live in U.S. and I want to get the correct ESC so as not to have to return it to service from Castle Creations.

Thanks, bought the ESC yesterday in ReadyHeli, the technician told me that they have correct one

Our stock cycle once a week on About Those ESC's, and advisory service That is 6 months old, so yes, our newer are for certain.

Hello everyone, I can't get my Castle link to connect with my HV 160. I tried it with both my win 7 and XP laptops. It will connect for about 45 seconds then disconnect and I get a message that says device not connected and only the usb connection box is lit up green. I checked my date stamp on my HV160 and it's 6/12. Any advice?

Maybe your Castle Line is going bad. Call Tech Support Monday for advice. If it’s bad they should send you a new one. CC email takes weeks or months so calling is the only reasonable way to contact them.

Thanks RC man but I just used the link today with my ICE 100 and it worked fine, not to mention the link is new. The HV160 is also new with only three flights on it. Thanks for the advice, I'll give them a call.

Called Castle Creations and they said send it in. They turned it in a day and now it works great. Great customer service. I was without my ESC for only a week. Thanks Castle!

Glad to see that their customer service is back to normal. During the recall it was really slow but that’s now history.
