Great vids! Looks like some close racing going on down there! Lots of lead changes which is always fun. Terrific place to sail - and it looks like everybody is having a good time.

X52 Sailing Get Together


Hi again, Update: We At Club #322 (www.prmyc.com) are moving right along to get these GREAT SAILING BOATS register with AMYA as a ONE CLASS DESIGN. So until this happens we continue to enjoy these boats with our Club Members. here are some videos and pictures. ENJOY

Its a nice looking boat and it sure looks like you guys are having a lot of fun sailing together. But does America need another new class? Doesn't AMYA already have twenty or more classes? Particularly, if you only sail your boats at one club in one place, it would seem that it is unnecessary to make it a national class.

Mike thank you for your interest once the boats gets register with AMYA as a one design we will then start to mass produce them and get them to the States. I will continue to update this thread and keep you informed.

Tom thank you too for your interest I'm sure that every single class that is registered with AMYA started with a single boat and the interest grew so this is something that will take some time but our long term plan is to get these X52 boats out there. Not everyone wants to race some people just like to sail and these X52 are great open water sailboats. There's a lot of open water in the United States

UPDATE
As of one week ago all documentation was submited to AMYA to register these GREAT X52 Sailboats as a ONE DESIGN CLASS. We are moving right along as planned. More to come.

Interesting, what diamenter is the mast, Carbon? What size sail servo?

Jim the mast is teardrop shape made of aluminum, the servos used are one hitec hs785 drum for the sais and hitec 311 for rudder.
