As a kid, I had some Jim Walker rubber slingshot launched planes. With a nicely sanded & printed fuse, and almost airfoil shaped wings, they really flew well.

Or if you don't insist on balsa... or tails. Slingwings work very well.

The main difficulty is they occasionally fly away.

I just got off the sight.

Talk about a neat project to RC !!!

Not sure how I will do it. But my gut feeling is the slightest weight shift or a operating aileron on 1 side should do it, to keep the plane in a area.

Need to bug the guys in the micro -micro area.
