The Order of Glory, which was modelled closely upon the Tsarist Cross of St. George, had three degrees. A person initially received the third degree, and would subsequently be promoted to higher degrees for further acts of bravery; one who received all three degrees was called polniy kavaler ordenov slavy (full Cavalier of the Order of Glory). In total only 2620 gold first class orders were awarded and attained this Full Cavalier status.

Wow, this is great. RW9UAO, you are the man.

This explains the why the channel slightly favor jumping
to its own zone. Because the not all 3 zone will get fill up
evenly. It can happen that the last few channel opened
are all in one zone, then it will have to jump within one zone.

In other words, the jumping bias towards its own zone
most likely happen in the last few channels.

This is very exciting.

Right, you guys probably just made a lot of money for Orange, getting nothing in return except for a lot of congratulations from us hobbyists and a flood of cheap Rx.

Still, it is great that you guys did this and were willing to share it with us all.

Congratulations on cracking the Enigma

Out of interest, do you have how Alexandr worked out the maths? I'm pretty interested to see how he did it.

Cheers,
Si.

Simple answer - they're not as smart as you! Outstanding work guys.

On the subject of the Orange DSM2/DSMX module, do you have one you've been testing during your investigation of DSMX? If so can you confirm HK used 10 IDs in it and what the risk is of it interfering with other Orange modules or original Spektrum kit? Many of us less technically knowledgeable modellers are eager to know whether these units pose a risk of shoot downs in DSM2 and DSMX modes, and if so how big it is.

Once again, brilliant work - well done!

Yep - they probably shouldn't expect a Christmas card from Horizon Hobby though!

RW9UAO,
My initial attempts with the routine you sent me didn't work due to operator error! I forgot about XORing the MFG_ID before putting it in the bind packet. But now I see it working with all the MFG_ID's I have. All I can say is WOW! and Благодарю вас очень, очень много. It would be an honor if I could buy you two a drink some day!

On the subject of possible shoot downs using the Orange TX modules I think the risk of interference between an Orange module and a Spektrum TX is so small as to be insignificant, assuming that all Orange modules use the same 10 frequency hopping sequences. But the risk between 2 users of the Orange modules, I think would be 10% minimum. Actually it is probably more because your average user is never going to press the change ID button when they first begin using the module and so any time 2 Orange modules come together there is a very significant probability of carnage.

first notice - is only even or odd channels.
second notice - offset of 3. looking in cypress CYRF lib, function for set frequency add 1 to channel number. dsmX never use 0 - 3 channels.
randomize func - programmers a lazy, why make own bicycle, to google or lib func. what use for a random seed? manufacturerID is better than all.
a quick eye see the byte look like a channel num. luck.
big enigma is a subband using. in one old book of spread spectrum read an idea for subband - first using 2 subbands. not thrue. use 3, 23 div 3, BINGO with small error. use 4, no. return to 3. make borders 8-7-8, BINGO! a bit of luck and many try.

some reflections about dsm2/X and telemetry http://www.rc42.ru/forum/25-749-20038-16-1355745026 in russian again. try google translate and ask here.
in two words: i use 6 chan orange receiver for experiment, make short range telemetry module on him (tm1100 analog i think).
DIY short range telemetry for Spektrum (2 min 9 sec)
ugly video, i know. not operator.
here http://www.rc42.ru/forum/6-707-18467-16-1347024268 and down story about telemetry.
at now development stopped. i lost interest and motivation.
