I must be one lucky dude. I can say the only electronic device that didn't work when I received it was my second ALZRC 3GYS ver 1. The yaw sensor was inop. In the end I received the G31 gyro replacement which works. I never smoked a motor or esc. One of my hobbyking 6 Ch rx is trash only because I crashed a foamy plank in a tree and broke the coaxial antenna. I couldnt get it resolder and it was only 10 bucks. My batteries mostly work. Had problems with all batteries from SkyLipo and BlueLipo. No problems with Gen Ace. Problems with one reasonably young Nanotech. Non really with my first Turnigy and Zippy packs. Non with new Glacier lipos. Only problems with a HK clone heli. Non with a Tarot or VWINRC helis.

Just happened upon this on eHirobo. This is getting to be like Bob Smith products, just slap on your own sticker.

That's not another version of this gyro. It's a new version of the CX-3X1000. See the socket on the side for the program box and PC interface.

Interestingly, the manual doesn't say what the three pots do, but one has to believe they do cyclic gains and something else for the third. I remember when the CX-3X1000 first came out and there was only Tx programming, that some of the settings required you to keep track of what they were set to by counting the flashes and adding or subtracting them from the value you thought it was set to. This gets around that issue and still allows Tx programming. Also no fixed leads, which is nice.

I guess the proof of the pudding will be in the internals. Have you compared chips in the ZYX and Robird?

The hardware of the VCTRC 3GX, CX-3X1000, ZYX, HB800 & CX-3X2000 (guessing) are virtually the same. Really only the number of LEDs vary.

The robird uses a different MEMS sensor.

That's intriguing. It suggests that firmware is everything! If only it could be hacked in the way that, say, the GA-250 has been.

I agree totally, but as the guys working still on the 250 would say it's not that easy lol! I think most of these guys have hacked the beast and are just adding their own little tweaks to it. I am 100% happy with them as long as they make sure the quality control is up and that is what I have a hold back on the copterx. I know beenflying has has posted some pics of the old fbl controllers and I have opened mine and the ehirobo stuff does not look as clean.

This sucks! My servos were to be delivered by DHL on Thursday, but because of the snow storm it was delayed. That is fine, but then they used the same excuse for Friday. No storm just cold. Everything was cleared up by then.

I'm building a new pc, and I got the hard drive and cpu today, on time, but the motherboard was held up and I probably won't get it till Monday. I guess the Mayans predicted it, though.....

And neither snow, nor rain, nor heat, nor gloom of night, nor some two-bit storm!

I doubt mine will, They already blew off Friday for no reason. Other than they were backed up and my package was from China.

Was surfing r-hobbies website and found that they sell the VCTRC 3GX, HB800, and G31. All at really great prices.

Random thought. Has anyone got a beastx clone flying on a 250?

I don't, but when I read up on the Microbeast, a lot of people had trouble with the 250's tail when using v1, but that was before the likes of the DS95i...

Vibe Log?

Does the VCTRC feature a vibration log, or is that only found on the Robird?
