The Taiwan F3F league is now coming to Lung Pun, the world record breaking slope that shocked us last year. Pilots from Taiwan, Hong Kong and Singapore joined this 3 days event.

The competition started today. I received a message from my friend, that a 27.xx has just made!

Since both my kids speak Mandarine, I might have to take them there and maybe even I can manage a sub 40.

The Lung Pun race is one of the stops of the Taiwan F3F league. Lung Pun is famous for its amazing flying site among us. It is also a very nice place for tourists. Because it is so special, many people even out of Taiwan like to fly there. The organizer decided to change it to a 3 days event and accept pilots from the other countries to join.

There is no web site for the league, but all of the information of the league can be found in the Flying Pizza forum of Taiwan:

(You need to register to read. It is in Chinese, but not lack of good photos. The scoring table is not difficult to understand too! )

Got no more news, seems 27.xx is the fastest this year. Windguru forecast shows the coming wind speed is not as good as today.

WOW! If my maths is right, thirteen sub 30's and a fastest time of 26.10 pretty impressive, shame I can't read the names or the planes, but thanks for sharing!

Many competitors already arrived the site and get practice, including comprtitors from Singapore and Hong Kong.
