I only sand down the front - works fine.

You shouldn't have to sand the gws ep 7035 dd. It fits on the stock adapter with backing plate and you use the full threads of the screw. At least that's how mine worked in the video. You don't have to remove the motor from the plane, I just thought it would be easier to film with the motor out.

Oh heck yeah it does, lol!!! After putting the HS55 long-throw arms on AIL & ELE, I'm guessing I have a solid 45-deg on ELE and prob 40-deg on the AILs....yeah, baby!!!!

As mentioned, after doing this and adjusting the geometry, I had to dial back the high-rate travels in DR/Expo to where the servos weren't binding.

What I'm aiming for is axial flips around the CG.

the same here ....did not have to sand prop either,,nut went all the way on shaft,,with about 3 rows of shaft threds beyond nut exposed.pretty easy to do.

They've got ~40" planes already.

Any smaller and is prefer to just stay with foam.

This sweet lil machine has me by the throat.
Never imagined she would be this good!

Got off work 45 mins before dusk.
Got in three batts.
9 min is the sweet spot for my Hyp (3S) 450s.
(80%=360mAh)...stock prop.
All my stock prop tests are finished.
GWS 7035 next.

I never really understood all the hype about a macro sized Beast.
After 33 EQQ flights, the thought of one makes me drool all over myself.

My Edge will never replace my UMX planes.
I will never fly her off my front street.

I love her colors but she disappears a bit after sunset.
Be careful.

The more I fly her, the more I want to fly her.
Just like my UMX Beast, she begs for lower lower lower.

I'm going with longer servo arms.
Not new holes on the control surface horns.
Should provide much better control authority.

I've tried my best to rip her wings off in flight.
She begs for more.

Can't wait to fly her again!!

rc

ps...
RG, All the complaints that I've read on this thread are insignificant compared to how wonderful she flies!

What servo arms do we have to choose from? Are there longer ones that will fit the stock servos?
