Finally some time to build !


Just for sharing !

Plane is build from a mix of balsa/depron/EPP.
30" shown astro010 with 3:1 GWS gear Some of Tankmotors proto's will be tested on this plane. Aim auw is 10 oz.

Its far from finished though.

Well thanks poobs,

This mix of materials is _for me_ the way to go. Just cant build planes all balsa, depron or foam. I try to take the best of all materials and use them in/at the right place

Wing is almost ready, all gear build in, servo to rudder link will be made tomorrow. AUW is 220 grams so far.

Whoa! That looks awesome. I like how you made the fuselage. The use of materials is ingenious. I really really like the tail too. Great job! I look forward to a flight report/inflight pictures.

Thanks chris,

I make my planes with the device on the picture. I use cardboard templates and printed plans.

I got a scorpio slowflyer kit from my wife, and i noticed that these styro kits are made the same way. Ie. a mix of styro, epp and balsa.

I'll be flying her next weekend I guess. If i can get my OFB with his camera we'll make some decent pictures and video.

interior of the fuse, it took some experimenting to get the CG right.
