I think I'm inverted. Maybe.

Although I think RCG is taking the whole RCG+ thing a bit too far, I think it would be a surprise to quite a few if the first person featured on RCG was anybody but frank. Took a few times, but he definitely deserves it.

Congrats frank.

Well this is certainly pretty cool! Thanks for the nomination and thanks for the kind words acetech09. I appreciate that.

When I told my wife about this, she asked "Why did you win that? Because you are on that so much?" I said, "No, I think it is whoever has the most posts in a month."

My blog isn't about me, so folks won't learn much about me there. But if anyone is interested, they can learn what I am doing here on RCG besides just increasing my post count by reading below.

We have a build clinic going on here: https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/show....php?t=1704076 This clinic is teaching people how to build balsa airplanes from a kit.

Then starting 17 Nov, we have a Kitbashing contest called "Free Flight to RC Flight Kitbash" This contest was started to celebrate RCG's first ever forum dedicated to building balsa model airplanes and there are many people that are very happy that we finally got this to pass muster. The new forum seems to be doing very well. If you want to learn more about the contest look here: https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/show....php?t=1755366

Starting 29 Nov, I am hosting clinic number two and this will be a clinic on building a model airplane from plans. We will be building a eQ200. You can learn more and sign up in this thread: https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/show....php?t=1733597

If anyone of you will be in SoCal on 3 Nov and would like to stop by and get some flying lessons, please stop into this thread and let me know you will be there: https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/show....php?t=1757265

Since we all like to help others (which is why we are here right?) Then please add your name to the map: https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/show....php?t=1833619

As many of you know, we are still progressing very well with our Wings Across America 2008 adventure. Our extremely long thread can be found here if you want more info about that: https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=837250

And last but not least, I have been building this list of made in America products for a long time. There are companies that design, build, and produce your RC products right here in the USA. If you see any companies that I have not listed, please post in this thread and let me know. https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=976993

I have also attached a photo of me and one of my all-time favorite planes. When they say bigger planes fly better, I know that is true.

Thanks again picking me as an RCG member of the month. It sure would be great to open this up to all RCG members. We certainly have some very interesting and entertaining people posting here. I would love to learn more about them. Hey, maybe Jim can do a podcast with interviews of just RCG members. Now that would be cool!

Thanks Mark!

I forgot to mention sloping in my post above. If you have never tried it, you really need to find someone who is involved in it and give it a go, It really is one of the most exciting forms of RC flying that I have ever done. It not only improves your piloting skills, it is extremely fun and relaxing all at the same time.

I can pretty much guarantee you will be hooked. And as we say, there really is not an "ugly" sloping site so if you like to be outdoors, then sloping is the thing for you.
