I think ment that the SE5 in the photo was a 7/8th of the full size original.

Yes, that's right. I wasn't challenging the authenticity of the markings. I could tell they weren't British, so I was looking for what country this particular plane flew for, which turns out to be the USA. I just happened to find the markings on a scale (but flying) reproduction of the original.

Yes they are three channel models, but with a little effort,

The SE5a should be easier to convert to 4 Channel than the Previous Flyzone planes, because it has Ailerons in Both Wings and both wings are basically the same size/shape.

Wattman, I only wish that I could take the credit for the Mod! I only copied what au117 has done. I have posted these mod’s in the DR 1 thread. They fly, as one might predict! much harder to fly but your flying it. Taking out the dihedral really changes the caricaturists of the stock setup, but that’s why we do these mod’s, right?
