What are you bringing? I'll be there and there are a few corners in my place to fit another box or three...

Central Jersey, 20 min from New Brunswick. If it makes sense I may wear my RCG badge from NEAT Fair so anyone from the forums will be able to pick me out. If I can find it. 2nd year doing it, last year was quite well received from what I've heard in feedback.

It's an honest hobby......there are many other things that could take $$$$.

My 2.5 cents: If that is the worst thing you do then your wife should be thankful.

I was up front with my wife from the very beginning when we first started dating how expensive the hobby can be, espcially when she saw one of my helicopters and asked how much it cost. I also explained how the hobby has gotten a lot cheaper since I started in it. It also helps that my father in law wants to get started in the hobby.

Just tell her that a fully tricked out 700 class heli with radio is about 1/10th the price of a strip club on a Friday Night in the V.I.P. room.

What to tell the wife...
You do this li'l pseudo-hypnotic circular wave of the hand with the fingers held just so, while incanting, "These aren't the airplanes you're looking for.
You can go about your business. Move along. "

And may the Farce be with you!!

I guess I have it good. Second marriage for both me and my wife. We both work, have separate monetary accounts, split the bills. What I do with my 'play' money is none of her beeswax and vice versa. Works great for us both.

When you do this make sure you have a nice gift in your hand.... Not that I need to bribe my wife, but I have found that a Coach gift goes a long way....
