Under load that voltage should be lower than 7.5V for a 5 cell pack?

A transmitter does not place a massive load on the battery to drop the voltage significantly. My 14Sg comes off the charger at 7.4V at power up. It settles between 6.7V and 6.4V for around 5-6hrs before running to the factory set 5.6V within 3hrs.
am getting around 11hrs of Tx run time.

I left it on charge late in the night and now it shows 7.2V but no light indication on the charger to show it is charging. When I hooked up the charger, the light was on and after a few minutes, it started flashing with a few seconds gap and then goes off after a few minutes.

Is this normal?

I charged mine to 7.4V now but the light on the charger remained off all the time. Can anyone confirm this is how it is on their chargers too?

Sounds like your charger works otherwise OK but has a LED that is failing.

Thank you for confirming. I think I need to call the service center to see what they say about it.

I had the pleasure of trying this radio out and I really like the feel of it. The switches are all easy to reach. I do not fly with a neck strap and often hold my radio in one hand. I currently fly the 14mz and love my radio. But I will be ordering the 14sg here shortly.
I fly mostly gliders and the programming is very nice. And is not complicated. Like some of the other radios out there. Futaba has hit another one out of the park in my opinion.

Change is good...
Any idea how we can connect a Dragon Link LRS and the Fatshark Dominator tracking cable to this TX simultaneously?

There is no removable module to use PPM pins so the only choice is to use the trainer socket. Since both use the trainer socket, how can we make these system work together?

There may be a way, but likely you are just creating busy-work for yourself.
Easiest answer is to simply use the trainer for DL and use seperate power for your fatsharks... Sorry if that is not the answer you are looking for.

I don't mind using a separate power source for the fatsharks at all. Wasn't sure that was the only physical connection required from the TX. If power is the only concern, Then I'm ok with that because I use a separate power source for it currently with my Aurora A9.

Fatsharks require no physical connection to the rc transmitter at all. The only items your sharks are tied into will be the video rx and power.
If you are just getting into FPV read the stickies in the FPV sections for valuable information. Also, fpvlab.com is priceless.
