I'm not a go pro employee. I'm having a discussion. I can post my comments about a hacked GH2 shooting the best DSLR video, but this is not the forum for that.

That video is not speaking for anything. It was done improperly for a comparison.

I was a bit sceptical about the gp3. But now I'm more convinced of its performance. I've been testing the GP3 in the last few weeks and I like the out of the box sharpness. Colour is a different story but overall I'm pretty pleased with the results I'm getting with my GP3 black.

Is it worth $399 plus shipping? Still a not so easy question for me. Somehow RX100 is still tempting since I could get it for less than a couple hundred bucks more than the gopro 3 black.

Lucky you. Mine died before it was an hour old. Completely inert.

Contacted the Customer "Relations" five days ago to get a return authorization and they STILL haven't responded.

Lousy company.

gopro is a bit laggish but they do respond. Did you buy direct?

Update - it's now more than a week and no response from GoPro. So I contacted Amazon, from whom I bought the camera, and they SHIPPED a replacement less than an hour later. No hassle, no delay.

GoPro clearly needs a lesson in customer service.
