"The control-line model selected at Muswellbrook for 2008 is the Aeroflyte Spitfire. This is the earlier kit version, which has a sort of elliptical wing shape and flaps, and is not to be confused with the later Spitfire kit, #114. The Spitfire is a compact
little 36 stunter and is suited to most 2.5cc and up to .19 engines. Plenty of scope for colour schemes, too."

Maybe contact the Society of Antique Modelers. Or post in the control-line forum, https://www.rcgroups.com/control-line-63/. Since it is fuel, you might also post in the Aircraft-Fuel classified section, https://www.rcgroups.com/aircraft-fu...lanes-fs-w-38/. A picture of the kit box and inside might help get responses, also.

You could also contact eatherbreather,
"I am looking for any old "Aeroflyte" (Aussie made) brand c/l and r/c kits that you may have laying around - mainly wanting c/l stuff."

Aeroflyte Spitfire 114

G'day there!

Thanks for mentioning me here and my search for Aeroflyte stuff! I am looking not as a collector but as a flier (so any kits people have need not be pristine - or even complete maybe?). I am simply trying to re-live my not too long past youth. I can afford to buy the kits now but they aren't made anymore : (

Without seeing the Spitfire kit in question I would guess it's value at $50 Au? I hope this doesn't ruffle any feathers anywhere. To an avid collector it might be worth more but I think when the kits were available they sold for less than $50 as recently as 5 years ago (or less?). Any/all input/corrections here appreciated.

Eatherbreather.

Name was meant to be "Etherbreather" (I love diesels) long ago but a typo saw an end to that.
