I have about a dozen of the 10 pin micro USB connectors that I ordered from China. If you want to make your own, It's really easy. I'll ship you one cheap.

Ya, it seems to fix the missing settings and crashing, but there will always be a 5 second preview delay and video can't be previewed while recording.

After the update, left mine on the charger (seemed very slow to charge),
and it still got stuck with the charge light on and had to pull the battery to
get it to respond. *sigh*

Noticed now that when I switch Protune on or off, it always switches the
video settings to 1440, 48fps, Wide no matter what they were before.
Used to be, if you were in a shared setting like 1080p@30fps, it would
retain it. Haven't seen any crashes in the menus yet *knock on wood*.

I don't know but it is funny you mention this. When I ordered I thought Flytron was in the US. It was only when I tracked the package to see when to expect it that I saw they are in Turkey. I also got their $25 Nex IR camera trigger. Lately I've ordered things from the US, China, Spain, Germany, and Turkey so this is quite a worldwide industry.

did the update and was able to record 1 video to 2:35 before it shut off. the 2nd video was more hopeful as it went 10 minutes.

this is with protune off and at 1080 60fps. scandisk 32 gig, class 10 card

will try recording while flying and see if it will stay recording

I think that in view that the new update is still not fixing the issue I think I will actually stick to my stock gp3 as its working perfectly up to now!

I probably would think of a refund, you're a patient man. looks like this camera has been rushed out to the market.

It still shoots phenomenal quality video, and it's the only HD camera with good low
light capabilities, so is worth a some level of fussiness. I haven't had it lock up in the air yet, but
based on the reports of others seeing it do so, I wouldn't trust it as a flight camera.

I agree on the great image quality. But isn't it frustrating when new electronic stuff does that on you ? They are not the same, lots of new items have defective software when they come on the market.

Thanks to the first buyer's patience they should correct this, but ... !

For whatever it's worth, I think it only locks up on charge, when it's done charging.
Any time I've pulled the plug before it was done, the light goes out as it should.
