Got a little done the last few nights late after everyone's asleep.....

I hope to have it done by midweek next week. Should have taken me 2-3 months to build this, not 2 years...... But family and work comes first

Oh, and my paint job on the cowls sucks, got a few runs I may try to sand out and repaint before SEFF.....

Just one question, can you get it out of the basement without a new exit being cut? Great job!

Stunning, Dag.

You're teasing with a cutout of the Thunder Power logo there on the bench... I can't wait to see what those look like in place!

You know when you print those retro logos up in high def and apply them, you will have one of the kewlest planes around.

Maybe those companies will adopt some of your retro logos for people who build old timers and use their products.

What great designs they are.

This EII is super kewl.

Well all, deep depression.

I made a critical mistake on the EII.

When I set up all the weights for everything I had the target weight at 46 pounds complete. I knew I would add a bit with the sound system. I added in the sound system while adding in all my other math but forgot to sum in the weight of the sound system, and it batteries. So if my calcs come out right I will be a bit nose heavy which is no big deal. BUT, I am at 57.1 pounds. This means I will now need a AMA wavier. I still have not assembled the entire airframe to see what she really weighs, and I might just make it under 55 as I always round to the higher pound, but this really sucks big time. She will still have a great wing loading, and be a great flyer, but getting it AMA'ed will take some time to round up 2 CD to witness my 3 test flights next week...................

Dang!!!!

Good luck DAG. Sorry about the weight bug, but hey - sounds like no big deal in the long run.
