Did you notice any difference in your power draw or flight envelope?

On another topic, for those who run differential on your ailerons, who much do you set? Mine rolls terribly, so I want to try differential to see how it helps.

LordEmperorTeng has been banned for good, I am a good friend of his, and will relay his message to you. Apparently the Admins are not letting him back on RCG so unless he creates another account which is unlikely.

from LET:

Heliflyer14,

Power on 3s is not as punchy as it would be on 4s but ill let the video speak for itself. It flies very stable, and landings are seemingly more stable with this bigger prop configuration if you look at all the videos the landings are all pretty much greased.... just keeping the throttle on until the mains touch and rog to slow on final.

Wow, fancy flying there gooniac Looks like you have your knife edges down pretty nicely.

One question for you, if I recall correctly, you have differential setup on your ailerons, correct? What are your settings for those?

Right now, my rolls are really terrible, and I have to time full down elev when going through the inverted portion, else it becomes a giant barrel role.

I opted for aileron rudder mix since I needed the port for something else. Will look at it next time and tell you the percentage.

Cool video

I wish my Gee Bee would roll nice and tight like yours. Are you just a superior pilot, or did you make any adjustments to help out the roll, like differential?

Out of curiosity, what camera did you have mounted on the bottom side of your Gee Bee?

Hardly a superior pilot, no adjustments and don't know what differential is. Just lucky I guss.
Thanks

I haven't flown mine in a while. But I did yesterday! Its so much fun to fly! I didn't have to touch any of the trim even after sitting for months. I have glued the tail in place and replaced hinges with blenderm. I think that if I added a gyro this thing would be even better! Maybe I will... anyway here are my flights!
