Expo is an individual thing. Everyone will be different. I run around 50% on this plane.

I found myself running less expo on this plane than the regular Crack Yak.

Woohoo!

My CYL is on the USPS truck and should be arriving at my mailbox this afternoon.

So my build will start tonight!

The comments on expo are interesting and I have to ask...

At only 50% expo, what full throw angles are you guys using for the top 3D rate?

Thanks,

JC

Well I got to get one of these. I have some 550 packs that weigh 32g but may go lighter.

On the lite set up what flight times are people getting on the 360 2s packs.

Are most people using the 19g motor they sell or the 24?

Thanks

We're seeing about 5 1/2 mins with a 2s 360mah pack while not hitting LVC. Its funny since you can feel / hear the power starting to drop that last min of flight but still have plenty of power left to enjoy since you don't reach the LVC point. I saw 6 1/2 min's the other day with just flying mixed patterns etc. Pretty cool how more efficient the power system is on these Lite models.

That's truly outstanding performance when you also consider that it's driving three digital servos.

Great job and kudos to the design team.

Hey Guys,
I just flew my Crack Yak Lite for the first time...AWESOME!! This plane has the precision of a big plane but the hucking ability of a foamie. It flies a lot slower but it can still kick it into high gear when it wants to. I am running the GWS 8 by 4.3 prop from the twisted hobbys website. The Crack Yak Lite can hover better than original Crack Yak. This is a plane worth talking about. It was so dark that I couldn't shoot any video. Hope to get some good video soon!
