Go with the Grain - TurboCAD

I am using Turbocad Designer 18 to design a model aircraft. Iím picking it up slowly, but getting there. Iím stuck with brush patterns for the various grains. See picture. The ply looks very heavy and too dense.
The same applies to balsa and how do I get the balsa grain running in the correct direction.
Is it possible to ďpaintĒ the grain ? What I have in the picture is just silly!
Much appreciated,
Thanks, Alan

You are doing fine.
I use TurboCAD 18 Deluxe.
Yes, you can create your own grain, for a small piece, just draw the grain
for a big piece, make a smaller square, draw the grain, delete the square, highlight the pattern, copy (ctrl-c), and paste (ctrl-v) wherever you need to.

Thanks Rick,
I'll try that for the balsa.
I was hoping to have the pattern all over the ply but a bit less dense.
