Nice work. The link to staples is not working.No problem though found some local.What are your plastic joiners??

I use the plastic endcaps that come with the tubes then I cut off the outer tab.

Here is the 145's fuselage with the weight saving holes drilled out or in.

with the holes its about .55% of a pound, but I cut a few more holes & got it to .45% of a pound.

Thanks for the info on joiners.Do the holes affect the rigidness of the tube?

Hi FlyBoy! No not really . . .as long as the holes are atleast an inch apart. . . .& I would make the holes any bigger than I did on my 145 fuse. . . .but they really do save weight.
