Cheap/easy power upgrade for GWS A (Tigermoth)??

I'm flying a GWS A Tigermoth with the new 2 cell Kokam 1500. I'd like a little more power/speed.

Is there a cheap and easy motor upgrade for the GWS A gearbox or a different gearbox/motor that would fit on the same stick.

I'd like to incrase power cheaply (hopefully $20 or less) without a huge weight increase.

Thanks, Doug

DCM-189 Johnson 250 motor (50 cents apiece from All Electronics) in a GWS EPS-100 gearbox. You can easily increase the size of the stick to fit the slightly larger opening in the EPS-100C gearbox by gluing sections of popsickle or coffee stir sticks to the front of the fuselage stick and then sand down to fit. The J250/EPS-100 combo will weigh about .5-.6 oz. more, but more than double power and thrust. The J250s will last much longer than the IPS motors, and only cost 50 cents to replace instead of $9-10 for an IPS. The dual IPS motors can get quite expensive in replacement motor costs.
