Funny how that seems to get forgotten by I HATE THE CURRENT PRESIDENT crowd.
Nope. In many states including Ohio you can fire anyone for any reason. It is at-will employment.

It's one thing to have a different political belief, left right or center. Of that I have no problem. But Obama is none of those. He wants to destroy the country. So voting for him is basically treason.
Then hopefully one day you'll be smitten with a company full of like-minded employ-ees.

Considering all I've seen on these pages since Nov of 2008 you won't mind if I call BS on this, eh.

People have a right to freedom of speech. But you're more then welcome to fire someone for their politics and see how the lawsuit goes for you.

Do you disagree with what the guy says? If his expenses go up he will have to shrink his workforce and possibly shut down. Obamacare will obviously greatly increase his costs. Other companies are doing the exact same thing by cutting employees hours to avoid the negative impact of Obamacare.

Wouldn't you rather know the position your company is in and the situation it is facing?

They would be able to let them go for any reason they found or for no reason at all. They simply wouldn't call it political. The result is the same.

Of course, as your employer, I can’t tell you whom to vote for, and I certainly wouldn’t interfere with your right to vote for whomever you choose. In fact, I encourage you to vote for whomever you think will serve your interests the best.

Of course. Libs see what they want, not whats there. This is easy to see when you let them tell you what the Constitution says... They have not a clue.

You may thank the current president after I leave. (By way of the voting booth.)
No he didn't! Let me remind you..

It's a plain threat, attempting to penalise Free Speech (and, as such, manipulate the election process).

It's an entirely reprehensible attitude from anyone who has any belief in any form of Democratic process..
