Or wait for someone (FMS? Durafly?) to release a painted one.

I have time, I'm not in a rush.

The SeaFury, Bearcat, Sandy, and I think the Typhoon were all post war aircraft. Depends on how literal the WWII hint was.

The Hawker Typhoon fought throughout WWII. From 1940 through 1945. The Tempest was an updated version of the Typhoon with a laminar flow wing similar to the P-51. It was introduced in 1944. The others were after WWII.

Still very entertaining!

For those seeking at the poll we had earlier this year: that is not perfectly representitive of what people would buy, other examples have shown that in the past (e.g. the Bf109F paintscheme )

Still, it generally is a good source for FMS to know what might be popular and what might be not. The SeaFury ranked high and it would certainly be a good seller. The Razorback Jug/Mustang ranked low and still they most probably would sell very well.
The Tempest/Typhoon ranked high as well and FMS already has the 800mm version at hand...
Oh and Freewing is just about to release an SBD, they wouldn't do that if it weren't a popular model

Actually, the funniest thing about this is how some people claim that it "must be" this or that and try to "proove" their estimation with sometimes absurd assumptions... as I said, very entertaining

Cheers,
Bernhard

P.S.: sorry, being mean again, I couldn't resist

Let's cut to the chase, when, exactly, will this be announced?

Can we assume that "tomorrow is Hump Day" means that it will be today?

It will be announced when it ships out to the retailers, at least that's what I understood... as the thread title says, that will be anytime in November

My 2 bobs bet is on the Bearcat and a bob side bet on the Seafury.
Look at the fuse lines, cockpits sit on a "hump"
Both were developed in 1944/45 so are of WW11 vintage.
The Bearcat went into Squadron service in May 1945 but did not see action.
The Sea Fury went into service in 1947 and saw action in the Korean

Long live the electric warbirds
