Wingspan is 1330mm, or 53 3/8 inches. That aircrew needs to bail, though. Especially that gunner with the funky arm pose.

They are trying to, the gunner is aiming the fin and rudder allready.

Only odd part about the dive brakes is that in every pic, they are deployed, tops and bottoms? Not sure how they will affect flight characteristics, and I'll be surprised if they open any farther than they are in the current pics. Need ~90 degrees to do a good steep bomb run!

Still looks like it sets a new standard though...

Add another 2 servos to control the top ones. It wouldn't be too hard. The fact it has 5 flaps alone is awesome to me.

I don't think you want to open those dive brakes any more then shown. There were major design issues with the real SBD dive brakes blanketing the Horizontal stab. The solution was to put all those little holes in the brakes. Only problem is that air doesn't scale.

They work, but do they work independently? I think that was the question. My guess is no.
