Whoop's Kevin not Jeff my bad. BTW a friend made a flying wing from a Talon wing and it flew great.

Seems like not too many people are responding to your question about the thick airfoil. The Talon is an older design and I'm not sure people were as much into the thinner foils back then. However, for such a small glider, thinner is probably better. You could try an AG03. On such a small glider, perhaps you could just sand the wing out of some really light, c-grain balsa. It's been done before, although I forget the name of the slope soarer I saw that had it. I saw an Apogee, which uses the AG03 at the root, on a slope and it looked like a decent performer. Until some other glider ran into it, anyway. Check out the plans:

Also check out instructions for shaping a wood wing.

Hmmm airfoil does not look thin...
Is this unusual for slope sailplanes?

Caveat re AG03: I'm guessing the performance in inverted flight may not be that great.

You might consider the airfoil Kevin designed.

I did most of the mods for his super talon and was very happy with the result.
