I'm down to two motors, one from Hoobyking and the other from headsuprc. Hoping someone has some inputs.

http://www.headsuprc.com/servlet/the...ushless/Detail using 6" props drawing 7.5 amps pulling 12.5 ounces thrust
Or
http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...%5F19g%5F.html using 5" props

Anyone have any thoughts?

I do not know if the top one will fit. The hole for the motor is 24mm. The bottom motor will work.

This is the next motor I would try. http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...er_2050kv.html
It will fit and have power to spare.

Lol looks good, but this is supposed to be a MiniSpyder not a MaxiMiniSpyder.

It is a small spyder with a bad azz bite that can kill!
That is why I call it a Black widow.

A Maxi Quad, is something I do want!
LOL!

I'm with DA. Need a place to hide everything. Why not in the "guns"

BTW, I've just ordered one of these from Eric. Does anyone know how much this frame weighs before assembly? I'm planning to pull a custom FPV camera/tx system I designed and am struggling with which motors to use. I know the weight of everything else.

Any help appreciated.

I still like my dainty DialFonzo Minispyder with "Big'uns" as Al Bundy would say.

this thing will carry around a 2650 30c battery like it is not even there. I am in the process of setting it up with a U-blox satilite, It has a Multiwii Pro board on it and the motors are
http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...dProduct=23615

using 6x4.5 3 blade propeller.
