!Si, see above ideas!

stack thin strip. drill one hole toward each end of stack of strip all the way through stack. run thread through hole, space each strip with a seed bead... tie off at each end.

or stack and space with glued in spacers.

et voila!

of course scale is going to matter- on the smaller scale sterling kits, this might not looks so great- but the corvette is big enough to make this doable.

Hello Gary, I know that corvette is going to come out beautiful! You are doing a great job. I know what you mean about the smell it puts out while sanding, I couldn't stand it either, it must be the wood, don't have or like cats here! Are you going to use capt. Jack on it? Great job, will be waiting for the finished project, Jim.

Gary, capt. Jack, was the pilot on the cabin top, I thought he was pretty scaled to the boat. He should look good in other models too. Anyway, if you don't need him, maybe we can work out something, thanks, good luck with the re-stor, now I want another one!

Gary, I also thank you for your service. I bought some of those plastic blinds too. Flat, schmat, I plan to use 'em on my Sterling cruisers. I lack the patience and skill to make them the hard way, though I admire those who do so.

I would like to try and make my own and see which one looks the best. For the price can't hurt.
