GeeTar, ever run across a Del'lorto carb? I have a few OPS 30cc Maxi's that use them, and have heard that Walbro carbs are bolt-on replacements. I wondered which Walbro would fit? And can you run a Walbro carb on glow fuel?

Thanks, RB8

you can but you have to change the pump diaphragm to the teflon or acetate one that comes in the rebuild kit. what is the venturi diameter of the stock carb? im sure one of these carbs will work. probably the WT610.

The Del'Lorto carb has a 10 mm venturi diameter.

It also has this port on the carb mounting base for crankcase pressure, to operate the diaphragm. Is that pretty standard on pumper carbs?

Yes. The crankcase pulse is required to get these carbs to work. If the walbro is a bolt on then the pressure port is likely to be in the right place. Even if its not you can tap the case and run the pressure line externally. The pressure port is in the same place on all standard walbro carbs.

Im about to hit the bed, early day tomorrow. But if you can hang tight until tomorrow evening i will break out the calipers and measure out these carbs. Im certain i have one with a 10mm venturi.

13.49 MM is the venturi diameter or .531" which equals 17/32".

The OPS Maxi 30 is a beast and I'm sure a 10mm venturi is not enough to feed it.
