3!! dang..i wish i could afford one!!...although the RX100 takes some stellar video and has OIS...so i might go for that instead.

i would sh*t my pants if someone asked me to fly a red!! haha...talk about nervous shaky sweaty hands and irregular heart beat!! haha...thats an expensive camera to put up in the air!!

but if you have the right multi to do it, then its not so bad

yeah it's fully programmable .. RGB Led's - every possible color :-)

The LED controller has different patterns (Strobe, slow, fade, color-fade, etc...). It's in transit right now - hopefully here before the weekend.

The LED controller is hackable and can be easily controlled via a RC Switch .. I use the cheap $4 Polulu RC switches for that purpose.

What deal?

I know that the Rx' s that have the satelite attachments do very well...i have two of them...in fact both are on my multi's....although I would like to upgrade to an AR 8000 to put in my easy* as it only has a small park flyer Rx in there right now. But it gets the job done.

What are your thoughts on the 2.4 ghz boosters for the Tx's? I was thinking this might be a good interim until im ready for the other stuff...at least some peace of mind i guess.
Before you play with. Boosters, consider antenna reflectors. Google
Windsurfer antenna reflector. I think Scott has had some success with one on his rc tx.

FWIW, I used one on my VRx for a while. It at least doubled the range of the rubber ducky.

You can scale it to any freq...
For 5.8, scale it by 2.4/5.8.

Try it out on your 2.4 RC, first...
