Mystery Cruiser

Anyone recognize this?
Belongs to someone at the LHS, but he wasn't there to tell me. Said to be an "old kit". I wonder if it isn't European...

Nice lines and I think there’s just enough room in your collection for her.

That Hobby Shack Beechcraft Staggerwing is a vintage kit from the 70's also.

I'll go with Dark Star's opinion on what it is.

My guess is also that it is a European import---.

An ol' commuter for sure...I pulled out my old bible (Yachts in a Hurry) hoping to nail it but she wasn't there..

Her cabins mirrored a 48 foot Chris Craft Commuter named Allez but the hull was a bit different.

The vulgarity of the cabin and handrail design lets Europe out of the running. Looks typical Hemingway.

I don't know about that! I am thinking Krick might have had a hand in this...

If it is, the designer is now digging roads.

Retired for now
Could be a Dutch boat. They often have the short foredeck to provide more living area below.
I think she looks great. Deffinetly liveaboard and cruise material. Pete

Well, I'm not sure if Hr. Krick the senior is still around, but his son runs the outfit now... and they did produce the Southern Belle kit...

Funny you should mention that. I thought that it looked like one of those awful English canal holiday boats... ;-)
