That particular Horton is a very scale, twin turbine scratch-build....not exactly what you mean about fixing the looks!!

Curious how they got around not having thrust tubes sticking out the rear.

Is this an actual picture of what they will be offering? What is the wingspan?

Just here for the pie.

Wow, what a coincidence.

I'm just starting preparation for a 1100mm scratch build of the HO-229 using the 2 55mm alloy EDF's I bought from HK. Maybe I'll build something else and pick this up from HK instead.

Cheers!

Guys, Phoenix Racing (Who works for Hobby King) said this is a scratch built twin turbine. This is not a Hobby King offering.

mea culpa

I apologize, For some reason i thought the fuse was more manta ray/thinner from top to bottom . That does look really nice, when i compare it to the right plane. Is it bigger than the wings on the web horton 229?

IF its the one I think it is, is about 50% larger than the WoW 229.. its right about 1/5 scale, or 132" wingspan

"That particular Horton..." ; the vagueness has drawn some confusion. Some here seem to think this is to be a new offering from H-K and it begs for clarification.

Flying wings are truly interesting, especially historically significant ones. The Horton would be a very big stretch to produce as a pnf foamy with electric df units, let alone a version with turbines. I've had the wing cores cut for a Northrop N9M now since way back last century but can't seem to get it onto the building bench .
