I disagree,
I have also tested many micro quads on the market and even though the X4 is a great quad, in my opinion it has no unique capabilities. All of the other quads can fly in wind and I have yet to own a quad not capable of stopping from fast movement (or fly away). The ladybird for example, still has better flight characteristics when compared to the X4 albeit at a slightly higher price.

I meant the X4 moves in an inclined circle around the horizon

Fair enough, I have not tried that with this quad yet so I wouldn't know. Will take your word for it.

I have solved the problem of both the exposed motor wires and the small battery compartment by using the MiniCP landing gear mod. It still looks cool, provides better visual cues for orientation, flies and flips just as easily as before AND provides a larger battery bay for batteries up to 400mah + lowers the center of gravity for what is practically hands-off hovering.

The blue lights blink when the voltage drops below a certain level (I found it's right before the quad loses power). Useful function I think.

The LED lights blinking giving a warning is good to have and the fact you said the lights were not powerful enough for night flying also makes me happy as I dislike being blinded by very bright LEDs on helis and quads

I have my X4 on order so just waiting on delivery from

Can't wait til you and the others get to feel how awesome this quad is!!!
The LEDs are very dim...barely noticeable in normal conditions. When is yours going to arrive??

Interesting indeed, I've never flown an actual LB. You really feel the flight characteristics are better, how so?

Well I for one like bright LEDs as I actually have more fun flying at night with my V939. I guess if\when I get a Hubsan, I'll have to mod it (not like that's a problem for me.........Step 1: Tear it apart)

That is the big question, a few posts in other threads are saying when they have emailed this company they are not replying to emails

Cool, so how does it perform with the 400ma battery? Guess it might a bit to heavy in the long run, does the motors heat up a lot?
With this mod I could use the lipos I already have for my V939 and that would be great.

Hvae you taken or would you take a picture showing the underside of the X4 with the mini cp landing gear mod please James.

I may as well order the mini cp landing gear whilst waiting on my X4 to arrive

Thank you - John.
