Anyone know if there's a multi-battery charging cable that fits the Hubsan connectors? Something like this:

Charging 6 lipos with the standard USB lead is a bit tedious

I think I would be happy enough to get hold of half a dozen of the connectors to make up my own leads. At the moment I have the original charging lead with the USB bit removed and two 3.5mm plugs fitted so I can charge the batteries on a decent charger.

I have a wl949 and it will hover basically in one spot but my Hubsan you lift it off and it drifts. I adjust the trims and still drifts a different way. I got it second hand so do not know what has happened to it.

It flies great in the back yard.

I guess the Hubsan you should be able to lift it up a couple of feet and it should hover in the one pl;ace.

Is that correct?

Hi F,
Did you do the ET mod?
--Improving Hubsan X4 flight performance 101
Yes when it is setup properly and everything is in good shape it should eerily float in front you for at least 5-19 seconds.
You should also be able to do very fast yaw spins in place in expert mode set to 100% rates when you have the accelerometer properly calibrated.
Cheers,
Jim

Once in a while someone asks how to get the props off. It can be challenging. I want to show you a tool I found at Harbor Freight today, I think it was in the plumbing section. It cost a whopping $1.49. On one end you can see the pry bar. Perfect for getting those pesky props off. On the other end (you can't see it) there is a slot to stick wire in to bend to the shape you want.
Just thought I'd share a cool, inexpensive tool.
I've never posted pictures before so I don't know if this will work.

There was a post on pinching motor and props pop right off. Worked fine for me when I put Ladybird props on X-4. Ordered a couple sets of props as I like the shape but from Bang good. It will be awhile. I like this little guy and flys very well. This one is indoor for me. Black color and size making outside flying a bad idea.

Thanks for all the tips guys! This one seems to be the cheapest by far: http://www.banggood.com/Wholesale-2-...l-p-51545.html

But, as it's from BG, I'll strip back the heat shrink and check all the connections

So, do I just plug all the lipos into that and charge as a 5s?

Cheers for all your help!

Tri-Quad-Hexa-Octo-copters!!
Hi Gents,
I refined that post. Every one has one of these to take the tight props off, so no need to buy anything:

--Micro prop removal made easy using wire cutting pliers 101

That link and more can be found in the Mini and Micro Multicopter section of the Quadrocopter and Tricopter Info Mega Link Index
Cheers,

Hi Al!
As this connector from banggood is a parallel charging adapter you have to charge the packs as 1S with totaled up cap.
Look at RCG for "parallel charge" - and follow the security rules if unsure how to handle it.

The ebay-link I posted earlier http://www.ebay.com/itm/1-to-5-Charg...item3f1d87fa15 is an even cheaper parallel adapter than banggoods.

Checking the connections is always a good idea - but not necessary to remove the wrap - a cheap DMM (digital MultiMeter) is more than enough.
If you shouldn't have one - buy it for a few bucks - it has not to be a Fluke etc.... It will come in very handy in this hobby.

http://www.banggood.com/Wholesale-Ba...r-p-51891.html

I have the feeling that this balancer harness would be more appropriate for the job...

And it's even cheaper than everything else but it charges only 3 lipos at a time...

I prefer balanced charging anyway under every circumstances.
It is safer and better for the batts. (Thats just MY opinion for certain reasons - so I will not participate at another starting charge method war).
