So i design this protection foame on the Hubsan.

It's better now, and give me more feeling that i want to fly.
I'm not so scarret anymore that brakes my props.

i just wated to share...

Great job Ray, how did you attach?. I'm guessing with sticky back tape?.
Thanks for sharing.

So whats the deal with the transmitters?
Some sites seem to offer them with LCD screen, others without.
I just ordered one here http://www.rcmaster.de/de-hubsan-x4-...er-p232170.htm
Did I just buy a lemon? Or is that just an outdated picture or something?

I think someone has just stuck the Hubsan logo onto the picture of the transmitter. If you look further down on that page it shows a normal picture of the transmitter

I am sure you will enjoy the X4 when you get it, I know it has become my favourite out of all my quads.

Interesting: http://www.hobbywow.com/en-the-hubsa...hz-p232462.htm

Same site, different name, in english. I bought a Walkera Infra X from them, it has a problem now I have to return it after a big hassle.

We can rebuild it!

My 2nd (1st one popped a motor) X4 is flying great, still can't calibrate it but the trim is taking care of business and it can hands off hover.

Been flying over the double bed till I'm better trained, I managed to fly from the bedroom thought the landing into the bathroom, land then fly back again. I kinda tempted fate a few times by putting it into expert, managed a few flips over the bed bouncing up of the mattress.

It's going good but I think I'll increase the yaw sensitivity on beginner mode.

I just got my confirmation shipping code. I can't wait to get my hands on it. I'm carefully reading all the tips.

Problems

Ok, so I just got 1 of these and I'm having problems getting it working. First of all out of the box, the back rotors start up before the fronts so control is impossible, so I thought it just needing calibrating. None of the things on here to calibrate work, and when the transmitter does pair with the quad, all I get is a very long annoying beep from it? HELP

The motors that are at the lowest point relative to level would start up first, because the quad always want to fly perfectly level with no stick input. Also, throttling up slowly at first helps. The one long beep at binding is normal.

No even from a level surface the rears start up first, and it's not one long beep, it's a constant never ending beep

I had the same issue, but the side rotors wanted to start first. Lots of trim fixed it, but then I followed the posted instructions here to do the calibration, and I was able to remove all of the trim.

Ok so this time it got half way through the calibration and then showed a 3 and froze up, sometimes with continuous beeps. does anyone know what 3 means? As I'm seeing it quite a lot while trying to calibrate?
