I'm going to miss coming to the Phoenix area... but since I moved back east, it's about 20 hours. It was really great flying with you guys... Especially the Albuquerque guys.

For anyone attending this event I will be bringing firewood to the field with me on Friday. If you want some wood for your camp let me know I can bring as much as we need. Right now I am planning on about half a truck load.

I don't need any firewood. I'll just use some busted wings and fuses. Rick HFR

We've talked to the management at the farm. And as of now we have lifted the no fly zone for the north side of the farm. Some of you in attendance last year will remember the number of aircraft lost in that area. Let's not do a repeat this year

So, if you were on the fence about coming to the event due to the no fly zone. Then rest assured that the area is open.

North side no fly zone.....hmmm. It's kinda like flying in the Bermuda Triangle. It can suck you down to the ground, or run you into antennas and guy wires, or it could even electrocute the plane. There was a lot of carnage in that zone....only those who dare, truly live!
