ever wonder how you make a thin early version of of a Zero put on weight? well bondo is your friend. here TFLG takes about a minute to add a nice layer of bondo on half the cowling.

the main fuse already had it's fattening up done and the spinner was cut off and given a stick in the , a layer of bondo and then used as a drill bit on a belt sander (see Jim's first post)

then Brian starts the sanding "early" so the bondo kinda crumbles off, well before it's finally kicked for good. then final sanding done.

some sort of plastic. after applying the bondo he'd wait just a few mins and before the leftover had fully cured scraped it off and into the trash.
