i had about 70 flights on this jet, it was good times

I guess indian style RIP burned! ESC caught on fire, very nice and fast set up. 100mm edf 4 blade fan with 2150kv tacon motor. 6s very fast and powerful. NOt sure what happend but Im glad I had an external bec so i was able to land it.

LESSON FOR ANY NEWBIES HERE, ALWAYS HAVE SEPERATE BEC SO INCASE YOU HAVE A FAILURE YOU CAN STILL CONTROL THE PLANE!!!

Not sure what happen. but equipment fails, my point of this thread is to say that if you are running high power set up its best to use a separate BEC so incase there is a failure you can still control the plane.

it wasnt the paint that caught on fire. was probably the electrical equipment in the esc, along with the lipos. the foam will start on fire before the paint.

screw BEC's. use a seperate rx pack.

That should be a good quote, at 20 seconds into the video "Something Caught on Fire" BEC, extra RX pack, when something like that goes, there is nothing to save you, it will burn.
