sorry the link I posted is fixed. Just so I have this straight, my foam is 3" thick, so the center line is at 1.5", from LE to TE.

This is where i am confussed, you say: "attach the center rib to the core" then
" Using a protractor at the tip, draw a center line at 2 degrees, and locate the tip rib there."

Nor sure what you mean by center rib? Just have root and tip templates. In the link I posted, it does show the twist, but also shows LE below center line.

Sorry, just one of those days the old brain isn't working too well

Center rib =root rib.-my bad.
One more time...lol Draw a center line on each rib, front to back.(root, and tip)

At the root end of the core, fasten the template securely on the 1-1/2 in core centerline.

You're right-the leading edge should be at the same height at the center and tip. So the leading edge of the template will be at the 1-1/2 " line of the foam.
On the tip, raise the trailing edge of the template the amount you want it washed out.

But wait-is this a tapered wing?-Then the tip template needs to be moved back to the top view leading edge.,still with the same washout.

This is exactly what I needed. I had thought this was correct, but just was not sure. thanks.

BTW this is for an F-86F . WS=65.65"

Okay-so you DO have a tapered wing...Are you comfortable with the top view description of the core layout?
