Anything that gives me a High

Just bench ran the TJ120, this thing has insane thrust and sounds sweeeeeeeeet.

After that session I have a lot of crazy things running through my mind , the thought that stands the most in my head is my TJ120 in a brand new BVM Electra (don't tell my wife).

I wonder if you need to mod the intakes on the Electra in order to marry the TJ120, how much mod do you have to do?

Send Tam a PM or email. He will have the best answer to your questions regarding the Electra. I believe he has done some work with them. Regarding your wife "is easier to ask for forgiveness than for permission" like the old saying says!

I personally don't think she would mind as long as I first finish my YA F-16 but that is currently getting delayed due to this build (will have to get back on it as I'm about half way on the 16).

Picture #1: You can see the 5mm projecting flange overlap of the intake duct that is glued to the inside of the fuse (a bit hard to see with the hysol).

Picture #2: I re-enforced the flange with two layers of 1K carbon cloth.

I decided to ditch all the hardware for the nose steering servo mount and decided to take a simpler approche (will glue fasten all tonight).

Had the in-laws for a week and a half for a visit and my sons 2nd. birthday so things were on hold.

Anyways now that everybody has left, its time to get back to work.

I started by gluing the mounting blocks that secure the rear of the fuse to the front fuse (still need to make and glue the fan mount and create a glue fillet on this side of the bolckhead).

Started working on the intake lips, I ditched the fiberglass lips as I did on my first build as I like this way better due to simplicity (created a lip using zpoxy and micro baloon), it will still need to be shaped once dry.

I also glued the front bulkhead as you can see on the first picture.

Re-enforced the wing/fuse seam using one layer of 1K carbon (Surprizingly the wing is a lot stronger then I thought it would be, and thats before I layed the carbon cloth).

I still may lay another layer.
