Might be a little overpowered, a 26 or even a 20fs is plenty.

G'day Mate, I've got an RZ, I have a 46 LA in it and it's a perfect match up so a FS 40 would do fine.

I take you are talking about a Four Stroke 40 and not the 2 Stroke 40 FSR ?

Anyway, I'll try to post a picture of mine over the weekend.

Cheers

I built one from scratch a few years back powerd by a nice Enya 40 Four stroke
, any 40 four stroke is a good match for this plane.

I have a Red Zephyr and it flew beautifully on an O.S.40 Surpass. It did need a bit of extra weight in the nose though. It was the perfect engine for the aeroplane.
I crashed the RZ and although there wasn't a great deal of damage I decided to recover it (Solartex) and re-engine it with my HP49 VT which is a bit heavier than the O.S.
I've since sold the O.S. and will post a photograph of the RZ when it's finished.
If I ever figure out how to upload the video to youtube from my Mac, then I'll post the footage that ends with the crash.

I have a Lanzo RC-1 partially built from someone else sitting on a shelf, main wing and fuse no tailfeathers.
Wing is quite heavy and built super strong, not sure if I'll finish it or not.

Here are some photos of my RZ's

Shane's Red Zephr in flight on Sunday . I was lucky to get to have a
fly,it flies beautifully with great lift and thermaled well for a Zephr which
are not particularly known for their thermal ability

Got to be the prettiest Zephyr I have seen yet. Who kitted? Engine? I have built two from Buckle kits, both are wonderful, lazy day flyers. Neal Smith Alexandria, Va.
