Every where I had used RP the foam got very soft or some what melted. Ended up cutting out all the RP and filling with Bondo.

Granted that was for a plug, but be carefull if you glass over it!!!.
CoolerByTheLake, Wow! I am glad I mentioned it. I am currently in the planning stages of a twin 90mm M21 (SR 71) that I plan to use a foam plug for molding FG skins. Thank you for the heads up. I have used it allot but have never glassed over it. Thanks agian Greg (Lt599)

Humbertomelo, I really like the paint on your Mirage!! It is turning out great Greg

I did a lot of tests with esc, edf, battery, all working together... after a several runs if all ok, then i install inside the jet and seal the fuselage. For me, after sealing the fuselage there is no reason to access the edf, if i have to access the edf then will cut a square area in actual edf position.

thanks for reply , just want one thing more to confirm , are you still using depron form/any form and over it you are using fiberglass ? or this is complete build with fiberglass?

In my jets, i bend the depron first with a hot air gun then apply one fiberglass cloth with epoxi resin, simple as 2+2.

you got us a great idea. but i think i still need to do more practice as i tried yesterday ... but its really hard for me to curve it the way you did ... let see how many sheets i destory to learn how to do it... i visited your site where you have video how to do it... once again man thanks you very much ... you really save our time to join forms and then use filer to make its design...

+++can you tell me what was your final electronic. in this jet ?

+++ hot gun how much watt you have i have 2000w and i think its tomuch for 6mm form ?

+++ are you using 6mm depron form ?

No, i do not recommend... it is to small for our application... try this one: http://shop.rc-electric-jets.com/HET...00-68-1500.htm , if you gonna use 12 blade edf and 8s lipo...

I like your intake design. The half intake lip. Do you do the same thing for top of the edf or just leave it like in the pictures. Also is it sealed to each side of the fuesalage or is there a gap where air can pass by the fan
