How about some specifics on your build and some photos so we can offer some recommendations. Generally speaking, you either need to move or reduce the size of the servo or make room in the fuselage by grinding or cutting.

If it is the Align fuselage, then most times, it is not the elevator servo causing the issues, but the tail servo needing to be swung down and made verticle to the ground, under the boom. If you are not using Align or Savox micro servos, change out the elevator servo to one of those as it fits perfectly with a 250 SE. Take care.

The simple fix for the elevator servo hitting the fuz is to fit it inside the frames. Don't separate the frames, all I did was to carefully remove the top of the servo and fit it inside the frames then reassemble the servo in-situ. I then fitted the ball on the inside of the servo arm to maintain the line of the pushrod. I made an extension to mount the battery further forward as can be seen here , if you look at some of my other posts there, there are some other pics of my MD500.

Andrews solution is also valid for the 450 size MD 500 Align fuse, as we found out.
At least, with the servo's we used (Hitec HS-65HB it was)

the servos that i am using are the ones from copter x they are just too big and now i am just going to invest in a gaui 200 and make life a little simpler . my big prob now is going to be weight i am scaling the fuse out with all the neat little bird parts fom a bbi little bird toy the complete cockpit and grab bars and bench seat that runs along the sides of the fuse etc etc
