Cool female pilot in a Piper Cub

On a sunny day in September, it was time for my new pilot to take her first flight in a Piper Cub. She did all right.
I edited the footage right after I got home from the field. Had I slept on it, I would have made the film a little shorter, but... here you go:

Still trying to figure out how you got the stick to move the right way!

Dead easy, really --- y-cables from aileron and elevator channels + two servos to move the stick: elevator servo moves aileron servo back and forth, and aileron servo moves stick sideways. (Did that make any sense? )

I guess so!!! I was Waaay overthinking it!
I liked it. It was a different video than the usual dot in the sky with ACDC music. Or shaky onboard video mostly pourposing. (Sky, Ground, Sky, ground......crash)
Great video editing too!

Actually, no --- the head was on an auxiliary channel, and could be moved independently. I used a 9-channel transmitter.

They're called Kimouts, and the piece is called "Down to Earth". I found it in YouTube's "library".
