Ok after a million props. I am able to launch it. I have turned down the rates but nothing will make it stable. I crash everytime I start to trim it out.

I think someone mentioned that before, hmmmm..... yeh that's right, it was me

Listening to all this trouble with launching this thing, I will probably put the expo on 70% to start with and go fromt there. I will be really surprised if I have trouble with it, but then again, my old AT-6 gave me hell until I threw it away

Just ordered my 3rd fuselage from Hobby Lobby today. I've tried everything to counter the left torque roll. Going to have my son launch it for me this time while I try to trim it out. So far max. flight time is about 3 seconds with all flights ending in hard left rolls.

Seems I had the same problem you guys are having. Tried to maiden mine today, I underhand launched mine at around 45deg and half throttle. Did the left banking roll thing, I managed to straighten up and pull out of the dive but just clipped the prop on the ground and busted it. Plane is pretty tough, no damage. I will get another prop and have a try again tomorrow.

I noted the best hand launch at almost full throttle...trying to launch it slower than that I had problems...that way you ensure enough air moving across the surfaces and you can counteract any torque if the motor by enough air going over the surfaces...my first launch was a little over half if not at half and I experienced the same roll and difficult launching you guys are talking about

3s is enough...how much throttle are you using on launch?

Had another failed attempt this morning Harder throw, around 3/4 throttle this time, torque rolled even harder, and ended in tears .

Description:

I think this plane could use a smaller prop and a higher kv motor, would make it much easier to launch. Anyways, mine will go in the bin. Wish the rest of you all good luck with your Moray's.

I need the 2 plastic pcs. that fit thru the wing holding it to the fuselage. If anyone has these from left over carnage I wolud like to buy them. They don't come with the replacement parts. I would also buy the motor/esc if someone wants to sell.

Hooper, full throttle!

The more throttle and higher aoa you toss it at the more p factor your going to have to deal with. I suggest you go back and watch the way Jason Cole from HL tosses it.

Don't launch it at a high angle that's bad news there...I've got a video on here of mine launching with no problems
