Blade 400 Flybarless conversion

I would like to convert a hand me down Blade 400 3D into a flybarless heli, in preparation for my FPV endeavors. I plan to use a MultiWii controller with accelerometers for auto level flight. Will a Trex450 Flybarless head fit and work on the blade 400? Here is a link to one i am thinking of using (i apologize if ebay links are not allowed)

or this... http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...450_HK450.html

but then would i still need to get a TREX 450 swash plate? are blade 400s intended to have part interchangeability with TREX 450s?

blade and align are totaly different companies and blade deos not copy people so I dont think the parts are interchangeable and i also dont think the multiwii board can handle CCPM mixing which is required for the blade 400. the blade 450 flybarless conversion kit might fit on you 400 but I'm not 100% sure.

any cheap control boards like kk 2.0 that CAN handle CCPM?

Is shaft diameter the only thing that matters when replacing the head and swash on the blade 400? I can't find much info on someone having done this yet.

just get a vbar it will make life alot easyer and getting a align trex 450 will make it cheaper aswell. align may be expensive to buy compared to blade but the repairs are half the price.

i am not interested in spending a lot of money on this project. i plan to leverage DIY even if it makes my life more difficult. i want auto level capability, and a flybarless head on a blade 400. what are my options?

SK720 or MSH Brain will do that for you if you HAVE to have auto level
really if you want to do FPV a quadrotor is the way to go

the align head should work as long as the main shaft is the right size

What about a 3GX with a APS then you can have return to home and GPS position hold.

Yes the align FBL head will work. The swash plate won't because of the anti rotation bracket style. You have to cut about 2 mm off the top of the main shaft to get the correct pitch settings,
