Is this a re-branded Nine Eagles Alien? Canopy looks quite similar...

I hate Heli Max. I payed $250 for a really cool mini heli that flew well but was totally unreliable. After some prying I found out that it was rebranded Walkera. Not sure how their other products are made, but I am not going to buy anything from them again

At $79 it also has gyro stabilization and is almost 1/2 the price of the Blade mQX.
Time will tell how it compares since it has not been released yet

I challenge you to find any quads without gyros in them. Other than the canopy it offers no features spec wise that cheaper quads don't have.

no other micro quads work with the anylink system.
that makes this quad a lot better than most. because i can put the anylink module on my radio and use a good quality tx to fly instead of light plastic crap that i have no idea how long it will last.

It doesn't work with spektrum or futaba

The earlier micro quads could fly with decent Tx's:
Blade mQx - DSM2 series (Spektrum, etc.)
Walkera Ladybird (v1, v2) - Walkera Devo series
WL v929, v939 - Turnigy 9x Tx (not sure of exact name)

It's the later micro quads that tend to be stuck with "toy Tx's"

The canopy, motor pods and weight of this quad does remind me of the Nine Eagles one.

I agree. The original mass produced micro quads were hobby grade, with good txs

How to use Tactic™ AnyLink™ with Futaba® and Hitec® Radios (1 min 5 sec)

all you need is the adapter for futaba or spectrum from what i have heard

Damn I'd wish they'd sell the anylink version in europe as well. We're stuck with regular no-compatible nine eagles stuff or robbe rebrands, but still no joy.

Canopy looks terrible , the rest of the specs are no different than 99% of the other micro quads out there at half the price of this.

It can use anylink .... big whoop.. doesnt mean the price should effectively double.
