beautiful doctor, the first servo flapping ornithopter with articulated wings.

probably the spring needs to be weaker to bend by little weight and allow a higher amplitude of flapping.

great work doctor. the slope soaring is really good for servo ornithopter, but maybe there can be stronger slopes, for example on buildings or walls

amazing the new servos seem very promising, but the ptero may have overweight a bit.
a reason for servo to drop power is usually that theres not enough current from battery, but it may also be by overheat

takemura uses this servo for flapping:
Servo drive type Ornithopter test 4 -- Good flight (3 min 46 sec)

curiously he run them on 3cell lipo, but he writes that a servo has died by overheat.
maybe you may try raise current to ~9V

EDIT: another reason for servos stopping may also be a "rotor locked" protection that some more high-class servos have, if this is happening shortening or narrowing the wings or try a stronger spring may help

Thank you. I turned a wing into slim gradually and shortened gradually. I will try to do up Volt to 9V from 3cell Lipo.
