I don't have pics, but I did use it to repair the fuselage of my GWS Corsair immediately following Friday's MWBL. The entire nose section had broken free on landing, cracking just in front of the top hatch where it's quite thin.

The glue worked great, though. Had it all fixed up in less than 5 minutes.

I don't have pix either but this stuff is awesome! I used it to glue the foam parts on my new eRC F/A-18 E and not only was it a pleasure to use, it sets real fast and is strong.

Foam Tac repairs.

Hey Guys, just a little incentive to post pics. I will send a bottle of Foam Tac for the best pics of repairs. I will also award a bottle for pics of your Foam Tac builds or projects, also a bottle for the best tech tips using Foam Tac. So get out the camera, and click to win, if this has a decent response I will try to make this an ongoing contest, and maybe sweeten the pot with some other give-aways.

Foam Tac repairs.

Ok I have almost finished my own design foamie, built the whole thing using Foam-Tac including the hinges, carbon wing spar, and the motor mount. I also use a bead of Foam-Tac along the bottom of the fuse then spread it with my finger, when dry it adds a lot of strength to the fuse and helps resist tearing and wear, as I don't use landing gear, I have found that by putting a bead on each piece to be glued, push them together, then pull them apart and wait about 3 or 4 minutes the glue seems almost dry, but it's not, then push them back together I get a nice strong bond, not totally cured but strong enough to hold the parts tight so that I can continue the build. Remember a little goes a long way, you don't need to use a lot of Foam-Tac. Now I need a name for my design, I was thinking Foam-Tac Yak, if you have any suggestions let me know. Pix to follow shortly.

Foam Tac Build

Ok Guys, here's mine now it;s your turn. This is my own design foamie it's a cross between a Yak, an Extra and an Edge, I made templates from dollar tree foam board using the "TLAR" (that looks about right) method and came up with this design. I did the maiden flight just before sundown today and it flew nice, a little fast on 3 cells and a 8x4 APC prop, tomorrow I will try a 9x4.5 and see if that slows it down a bit, I also have to install the side force generators, but it does knife edge really well without them but I like the way they look. So this plane was built using Foam-Tac only no other adhesives were used nor needed. I love this stuff especially the hinges, all my flying surfaces are super smooth and flex well with no air gaps.
Specs
WS- 28"
L-29"
weight 7.5oz with a 3 cell 500mah LiPo
Thanks for looking and let me know what you think.

I have foam tack on all my foam planes. The photos below are from a few models I have in the house. I have more in the garage with Foam Tack all over them. But I try to hide the cracks. So....I will take photos of the glue you can actually see.

WOW!!!! that's alot of repairing, I'm glad that Foam Tac is useful, although I have to ask, are you mad at your planes???? That is a great way to show how you used Foam Tac, I am still finding out that there are about 1000 uses for this glue it works great. Thanks for all the pix of the repaired canage.

I will post more tomorrow. Foam tack keeps me in the air, saved me a lot of money in replacement parts.

OMG!!! yes I do remember that, I can't believe you actually found it in the 8 foot tall weeds, there a probably 4 or 5 planes in there that have never been recovered, I actually think that's where Amelia went down....... But I do recall you bringing the Spit back to life, and I remember laughing a lot. Oh yeah Foam Tac to the rescue on that one for sure. Good stuff
